MW3 Guide – Best Perks For Your Class!

MW3 perks matter a lot for any class in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Depending on the combination of perks that you choose, you can build a much proficient MW3 class for a specific purpose, for a specific type of battle environment. So, here’s a short MW3 guide for adding the right perks to three types of classes in this game.

Perks for the SMG Class

As an SMG wielder you should be running around a lot, focusing on close quarters combat. Therefore, since the gameplay of this class involves a lot of movement, Extreme Conditioning is necessary, as a Tier 1 perk. This perk allows you to sprint for twice as long, and its pro level also allows you to pass over obstacles more quickly.

As a second perk for this class there are actually three viable choices that you can make:

    • Quickdraw or Quickdraw Pro, for faster aim down the sight. Although this perk works best with LMGs, you can make good use of it as an SMG user. Plus, it is unlocked early, at level 4.
    • Assassin or Assassin Pro, because it’s always best to be undetected by air support. Of course, you should then use a silencer as well.
  • Overkill or Overkill Pro, which will turn your character into an awesome dual-wielder. This way you can even diversify your gameplay using in one hand and SMG and in the other an assault rifle. However, it takes a while until you unlock this perk. You only become eligible for it at level 47. Many players consider this perk useless, and that you’re much better with one weapon than two. I think that wielding two weapons is awesome. Whenever I use this perk, I feel like: “I’m here to kick ass and chew bubble gum!”.

And the last point in this MW3 guide regarding the SMG class is the T3 perk. A great choice is Steady Aim or Steady Aim Pro, which will improve your hip-fire accuracy, and should be very useful for the rushing type of gameplay.

Perks for the LMG Class

As perk 1 for a class based on an LMG use should be, without question, Sleight of Hand or Sleight of Hand Pro. Reloading a light machine gun takes forever. This perk will cut off 50% of the reloading time. Plus, it is unlocked at level 4 which is just convenient.

From the Tier 2 perks, Quickdraw is not a bad choice. Quick-scoping is very useful when using this type of heavy weapon, and will improve your aim and accuracy.

As a T3 perk Steady Aim should do just fine. You’ll be needing that hip-fire accuracy when other players pop in front of you.

Perks for the Assault Class

The last class that I’m going to cover in this short MW3 guide regarding perks, is the assault rifle wielder. Using an assault rifle you won’t be moving around a lot, and it’s always best to keep a low profile. I’ve always played this class trying to be as stealthy as possible, so I would go for:

Tier 1: Blind Eye Pro, to be invisible and more effective against enemy air support.

Tier 2: Assassin Pro, to increase your stealth.

Tier 3: Marksman Pro, to benefit from a better eye over your enemy and for a better aim when using a scope.

Cataclysm Horde Leveling Guide – Tips To Prevail

Using something like a Cataclysm Horde leveling guide to level your Horde characters in WoW is a pretty good idea. You will have a set quest path to follow that will decrease your leveling time. That is, of course, if the guide you chose is any good. But sadly, a leveling guide stops there.

Sure they are great at leveling you up. But by following the leveling guide around, you will do stuff you won’t understand why you need to do. Plus you will not learn about your class and such. The really good guides have additional guides that give you the best talent builds and so on. But they don’t say anything about how you are supposed to play your character or how to act in different situations in the game. And that is why I will cover the newest expansion in World of Warcraft, giving you some tips that will help you level there a lot smoother.

- To get a good head start, make sure you start with the Mount Hyjal region. The other one, Vashj’ir, is underwater and you will move slow until you get the mount from a quest. Mount Hyjal also gives better reputation items than Vashj’ir.

- Get a tank build for your character. Or a more defensive build if a tank one is not available for your class. The mobs in Cataclysm hit very hard, so you need to be able to take that damage and not die.

- When in Deepholm, you will notice a lot of mobs fighting NPCs. Your immediate reaction will be to pull them since they will be clustered together. Don’t do that. As I said, the mobs here hit very hard.

- When you start Deepholm, make sure you do a lot of quests there. When you complete over 100 quests, you will unlock the daily quests for the Therazane Faction. Getting Revered with these will get you access to shoulder armor Enhancements, the only ones.

- When you reach the Twilight Highlands, go to the Dragonmaw clan camp. To the quests there until you open up the reputation dailies. You will need to get a high standing with them for some very useful items.

Combine these tips with a good Cataclysm Horde leveling guide, and you will be more than all right. The guide will show you the fastest way to the level cap, as well as all the quests you need in every area. And these tips will hopefully keep you from dying every so often.

1. Sonic & Sega All-stars Racing:

This is a game with the presence of Sonic and his friends and even the stars of other games released by Sega such as House of the Dead and Crazy Taxi. In this ‘kart’ racing game, you will be able to choose the cars with funny characters, specific skills and small tricks to try and win the race.

2. DrawRace 2:

You don’t have to strain your eyes in every classic racing game; it requires a different skill to most racing one. By manually arranging the tyre burning drift on the roads with your finger on the screen, it is a miniature racetrack but it is not less exciting with competition and varying situations on each level.

3. Jetpack Joyride:

After the success of Fruit Ninja last year, Kinect came back with an interesting arcade one called Jetpack Joyride. You are a talented young pilot that will have to face plenty of enemy’s pitfalls to survive in a deadly space station. Power-ups along the way allow you to upgrade and transform.

4. Shadowgun:

There are many iOS shooting games which were released in 2011 but it particularly won the hearts of gamers because of its quality. Set in the future, this is a little bit similar to Gears of War on Xbox 360. It used the Unity Graphics Engine that makes it surprisingly ‘cool’.

5. Infinity Blade II:

This is the sequel to its predecessor of the same name and appeared at the premiere of the iPhone 4S. Again using the Unreal Graphics Engine it was well received by fans. Still setting in a medieval clash of Titans, gamers will have one-on-one fights that require skills as a swordsman. With iCloud synchronizing application, it allows players to use iPhone, iPad and iPod to share the items or weapons collected in the game.

6. League of Evil:

Playing a villain, the player will be reminded of the period of ’2 button’ games in the style of arcade one like Mario and Space invaders. League of Evil is amusing, smooth and has funny interaction with characters. Originally an 8-bit one made many people wonder whether it would be successful alongside one that are graphic rich and with deep story lines. However, its presence in this list shows that it was a success.

7. Quarrel Deluxe:

This one achieved success in vote ceremony for Game of The Year Award BAFTA. This is a colourful strategy one with an interesting way to fight by selecting letters to assemble into meaningful words. The more words you make, the more winning chances you have. To conquer all of the lands in the game, you need to know a lot of words. This is an educational yet entertaining one.

8. Where’s my water:

This puzzle game which was released by Disney sparked some curiosity when appearing in the App Store. It is a combination of puzzles, logical thinking and strategy. It is an interesting challenge of directing water flow (and later toxic liquid and steam) to feed a crocodile in a tub wanting to shower.

9. Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint:

This one does not follow the style of classical billiard. Showing the billiard shot lines, the balls and the cue lines, the game is simulated by colourful lines in neon colours that give players excitement.

10. Dead Space:

What would you do if you were on your own in a deadly space station with simple weapons? This may provide a virtual taste of that. Even on the iOS platform, players may still face the feeling of surprise and suffocation from a thrilling fight with aliens. Good graphics and shooting game style create a fascinating one.
